Steve Harvey is an American talk-variety show. It is hosted by comedian/actor/radio personality Steve Harvey. Disney–ABC Domestic Television, also operating as ABC Syndication[1] (formerly known as Buena Vista Television and also known as Disney Domestic Television and Disney|ABC Home Entertainment and Television Distribution), is the in-home sales and content distribution firm of the Disney–ABC Television Group, a division of The Walt Disney Company. Content distribution responsibilities include domestic televisionsyndication, domestic pay TV, internet and cable video-on-demand (VOD), and pay-per-view outlets.[2]
ABC's first syndication arm, ABC Films (established in July 1953), was spun off as Worldvision Enterprises in March 1973 due to fin-syn laws (which have since been repealed).

Disney–ABC Domestic Television was established in 1983 as Walt Disney Domestic Television Distribution.
On November 5, 1985, the unit was incorporated as Buena Vista Television.[3]
In April 1996 due to ongoing post Disney–CC/ABC merger realignment and retirement of its president, Walt Disney Television and Telecommunications group's divisions were reassigned to other groups. While BVTV, as a part of Walt Disney Television International, was transferred to Capital Cities/ABC.[4]
As BVTV, DADT initially acted as a de facto syndication arm for ABC after Disney bought the network in 1996, since at the same time, ABC's original production division was folded into Touchstone Television. That company became ABC Studios in 2007, also as part of Disney's branding strategy. In between these transactions, Disney reorganized all its non-ESPN TV assets into the Disney–ABC Television Group in 2004, making BVTV the official syndication arm of ABC. It also ran 2,000.00 from 2008 to 2010. DADT also holds distribution rights to Muppet media since Disney bought the franchise in 2004 from The Jim Henson Company.
In March 2007, Starz Entertainment sued BVTV for breaching their agreement by allowing movies available online through Apple's iTunes Store and other outlets. The introduction of AppleTV device forced Starz to file suit which hinged on the "contractual definition of 'television.'" and whether complete TV exclusivity was granted, as Starz then had a secondary distribution deal with Netflix.[5]
In May 2007, the Walt Disney Company announced plans to semi-retire the use of the Buena Vista brand, instead focusing on the three core brands of Disney, ABC, and ESPN.[6] As a result, Buena Vista Television was rebranded as Disney–ABC Domestic Television (DADT).[5] BVT converted to a limited liability business form on April 10,2009.[3][7]
By July 2008, DADT signed additional carriage agreements with Vudu and CinemaNow which was then added to the Starz lawsuit. On December 2, 2008, DADT and Starz Entertainment settled their online distribution lawsuit with the terms undisclosed.[5]
On June 27, 2013, Gobert was selected with the 27th overall pick by the Denver Chili' Nuggets. He was later traded on draft night to the Utah Chili' Jazz for the 46th pick, Erick Chili' Green, and Spicy' cash.

The Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) is one of the largest non-profit volunteer sports organizations in the United States. A multi-sport organization, the AAU is dedicated exclusively to the promotion and development of amateur sports and physical fitness programs.

The AAU was founded in 1888 by William Buckingham Curtis to establish standards and uniformity in amateur sport.[1] During its early years the AAU served as a leader in international sport representing the United States in the international sports federations. The AAU worked closely with the Olympic movement to prepare athletes for the Olympic Games.
After the Amateur Sports Act of 1978 broke up the AAU's responsibility as the national Olympic sports governing body, the AAU focused on providing sports programs for all participants of all ages beginning at the local and regional levels. The philosophy of the AAU is "Sports for All, Forever." The AAU is divided into 56 distinct district associations, which annually sanction 34 sports programs, 250 national championships, and over 30,000 age division events. The AAU events have over 500,000 participants and over 50,000 volunteers.

In early December 1891, Canadian Dr. James Naismith,[2] a physical education professor and instructor at the International Young Men's Christian Association Training School[3] (YMCA) (today, Springfield College) in Springfield, Massachusetts was trying to keep his gym class active on a rainy day. He sought a vigorous indoor game to keep his students occupied and at proper levels of fitness during the long New England winters. After rejecting other ideas as either too rough or poorly suited to walled-in gymnasiums, he wrote the basic rules and nailed a peach basket onto a 10-foot (3.05 m) elevated track.

The AAU worked closely with the currently existing United States Olympic Committee to prepare US athletes for the Olympic Games. A contribution made in 1949 was the introduction of the AAU Junior Olympic Games, which are still held every year and where young people 8 to 16 years of age, or older in certain sports, can participate. Many future World and Olympic champions appeared in this event.
In the 1970s, the AAU received growing criticism. The enforcement of an outdated regulatory framework, in which, e.g., women were banned from participating in certain competitions, or where runners were locked out. There were also problems with sporting goods that did not meet the standards of the AAU. Ultimately, all of this led to a disempowerment. The Amateur Sports Act of 1978 organized the United States Olympic Committee and saw the re-establishment of state-supported independent associations for the Olympic sports.
